Price and Cato are older, have lived lives, and it shows, they aren't 20 something old's, they are however stuck in ruts. The world is an interesting layered sci-fi world that could be a mechanical station or a layered planet. I am intrigued and will probably read the other book that is out.
I enjoyed this story, the pacing was slower but was focused on the characters and world building. The relationship was built slowly and I could believe that it was real, the mystery and assassination attempts added some interesting drama that played into the changes that the society needs.
