Why did I sleep on this book for so long?!

“But the will of the damned is stronger.”

This is a fantastic fantasy novel, that has everything! You all know I love a book with unique magic and this one delivered. The political intrigue was killing me! I could feel the walls around our FMC Sylvia. The characters all had great depth, and there were elements in all of them that I could relate to. The world building definitely took some time in the beginning of the novel but was in depth, and added to naturally throughout. I feel well prepared for whatever comes next in the world. The twists had me clutching my pearls, and I couldn’t stop reading until I finished. I may have neglected some things while reading this because I was so invested.

This book was high stakes, true enemies to maybe lovers, hidden magic, hidden heir, political intrigue… I’m probably forgetting a thousand things but seriously, go read this one. If you’ve been considering, get to it!
