One of those rare moments where the movie adaptation far outshines the book.
While I still enjoyed this book, and it contained a lot of the quirky charm that the movie has, it just didn't read as well for me.
I think this is due to the outstanding performances of the two leads in the movie and their wonderful chemistry together.
I just didn't feel any sort of romantic spark from book Pat and Tiffany and the whole thing felt just a little bit dull and repetitive.
I did have high expectations for this novel and perhaps that's why it fell a little short, but overall this was still a fun and easy little read with funny and likeable characters. The book was pretty funny due to some great Pat quotes I will give it that.
