A Veil of Vines by Tillie Cole
3.0
3.5 stars.
I guess I expected ... more?
The story wasn’t bad in any way, but it was slow, soft, detailed, and predictable. You could see that Tillie Cole spent a lot of time researching Italian wine, wine production, Italian aristocracy and dressage. As I‘m not interested in either of that, I skimmed some pages.
I honestly think I‘ll reread this at some point, when I need a sweet full-length book that doesn’t give me anything to think about.
