Ok sooooo
I really enjoyed this more than 'God of Malice.' This was really okay for about 75% of the book, but then we reached the last 15%.
I just think they glossed over a lot of troubles in their relationship. She just accepted anything he did to her, and there were no repercussions for his literally unacceptable asshole behavior, which made it so freaking unrealistic and frustrating.
When she (finally) broke down, he was just like, "I'm sowy for treating you badly
