Icarus by K. Ancrum
5.0

K. Ancrum writes because they have something to say have my biggest respect.

God, this book ached but in the best possible way. It was so tender and full of kindness, love and compassion. I loved the writing style, the side characters, the simple tragedies that bloom from grief and greed, and revenge.
Icarus walked the line between fictional story (like fairytales and myths) and pain. Pain that felt real and scary.

Not to mention the fantastic writing style. Which was often so poetic.

Not one single thing I would critique in this book. I’m so curious what they’ll write next.
