“You can be lost even when you’ve been found. You can make the wrong turn in life even if you’re surrounded by people who love you.”
A follow up novel to The Child Finder. I love the characters - Naomi is the child finder and I will always remember her work and her past. The side characters are great and fully developed and this has a lot of suspense/tension although I guessed where it was going early on, I didn’t care. Still enjoyed the story. It’s dark so check trigger warnings.
