I was so excited about this book because of how much I loved "Say You'll Remember me," and it did not disappoint!
I loved the characters. I'm a big fan of Daniel; he is such a cutie pie. Any man that is so transparent about how he's feeling and what he wants gets a chef's kiss from me.
I really liked the exploration of friendships and family throughout the novel. As much as I love a silly, easy romance, I equally love a romance that makes me think a little. So, the idea of self exploration beyond what outside pressures want for you and what is really important in one's life was a great addition to the novel.
The contrast throughout the novel was also done really nicely. The city vs. small town, Daniel's community vs.
Alexis's, her family pressures vs. his, etc. It all taught me a lot about the characters without feeling too cliche.
It was such a fun listen-big fan of Zachary Webber (voice of Daniel) now. I definitely recommend it; it's a great quintessential romance novel.
