Sinner by Sierra Simone

4.5

This book...I don't have words for how much I loved this book and how much it resonates with me. I don't think you have to understand the Catholic faith to enjoy this book, but I think my background with the faith (which is a complicated one) made it all the more for me. I absolutely loved Priest when I read it (and I still think about it), but this one feels completely different to me.

I wish I had more to say than "I loved this book", but I really just don't know how to put it into words. The relationship Zenny and Sean have is so great and I love that even though they are in completely different places in their faith, neither of them let's it directly impact their relationship. I loved the conversations around God and religion, and I love that you get two completely different perspectives on it. And of course, you can't read a Sierra Simone book and not mention the spice, because boy is their some spice!

This is a book I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who enjoys the following. And I would encourage anyone even quasi interested in this book to give it a chance.
