The Good, The Bad and Everything In Between

-It’s a novella, so it’s a quick and easy read. The pacing was fine for a novella and I felt that I knew enough about Jase and Avery for this romance.

-Hot love scenes.

-Standalone HFN: I wasn’t aware that there was a series of these books (featuring Jase’s brothers) and it didn’t affect my enjoyment of this story. I could believe that they were happy for now, with the possibility of more.

-Nice enough, but nothing that makes it stand out: Jase and Avery were nice but a bit generic. She’s a typical insecure heroine, which can be frustrating, and he’s completely taken with her from the moment he sees her, which can be a bit eye-roll inducing. They have great physical chemistry but there’s not alot of time to really develop an emotional relationship.

The Bottom Line
It’s an uncomplicated, enjoyable short story that I’d recommend for those in need of a quick sports romance fix.
