Unnatural Creatures: Stories Selected by Neil Gaiman by Neil Gaiman

3.0

This book confirmed my suspicions that women and people of color tend to write more interesting fantasy stories, enriched with more complex histories and social nuance. Brilliant pieces like "The Cartographer Wasps and Anarchist Bees" by E. Lily Yu and "The Smile on the Face" by Nalo Hopkinson are interspersed with some dull white-man werewolf action bro-lit.
