I received this book as an ARC from the author, and I’m so happy I did! I finished it in less than 24 hours; this book just grips you from the start.
A perfect mix of whodunit, what happened, and the complicated role a mother plays in a life, this book was beautifully written without being too sappy. It moved quickly but wasn’t unrealistic nor did I feel like the end was rapidly and sloppily wrapped up like so many thriller and mystery books I’ve read. Thank you again for the chance to read this-or, in my case, devour it-before publishing. I look forward to what this author continues to write.
