It starts off slow, and you may want to quit, but keep reading! It builds beautifully and really develops the story and characters as all good books should. I suspect my initial lack of patience is the sad result of social media related short attention span and the need for immediate gratification. I’m glad I got past the initial friction cause it was a great read - the last half particularly with wonderful prose (highlighted a lot).
