The Storm by Clive Cussler

3.0

Jinn is from dry Yemen and wants to change the weather. He has a way of doing this but when three NUMA scientists disappear in the Indian Ocean while measuring water temperatures, Kurt Austin and his team are put on the case of finding out what happened to them. This brings them into conflict with Jinn and his backers.

As usual this has a far fetched premise but it's an engaging story. Though there are several facts, related to real geography, that were wrong and I found annoying. Hard to know if this was bad writing or bad editing. There is a distinct difference between north and south.
