Great fun, much like the first one. Very ambitious structurally, sometimes to its detriment, as I found myself wanting to get to the point where things would get resolved. When they finally did it was well worth it, but until then the way information was kept from the reader felt a bit artificial. A skeleton of a novel, if you will: all the bones are visible so you can see how it's constructed. Probably gains a lot the second time around.
