*** This is Book two in a ongoing series and will contain spoilers for book one***

Isle of Ember is book two in The Enchanted Isles series! We pick up right where we left off in book one. Viv and the crew have set sail for the Isle of Ember after the events in Verdance on in hopes of finding the second tribute they need to break Fendwyr's curse.

This is a amazing follow up,  the book is perfectly paced and flowed easily from book one.

Viv's heart is still very conflicted with her feelings in matters of the heart. In the end of book one we saw she chose to be with Cirrus but in book two we get more of that conflict. She continues to second guess if she made the correct choice to rekindle their relationship. She is especially worried about  Cirrus's family obligations after returning and what that would mean for them in the future. I still very much really dislike Cirrus as he is still very possive and I am on team Owen, IYKYK. Our Lewis does have his own emotional rollercoaster and is not forgotten.

I did find the switch in POV sometimes confusing but it wasn't distracting enough to be a issue.  We also get several new characters from the Isle of Ember in this book and they are welcomed additions and we still have our beloved family crew. The banter is still amazing and will have you laughing.

This will be a on going series so there is a cliff hanger and you will have a emotional rollercoaster  especially at the end, so if you are crier keep your tissues handy.

Overall I absolutely enjoyed this book and I am so excited for book 3.
