Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs

Re-read

“Identity was partly heritage, partly upbringing, but mostly the choices you make in life.”

This novel directly follows the events of the novella [b:Alpha & Omega|5393637|Alpha & Omega (Alpha & Omega, #0.5)|Patricia Briggs|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1368147080l/5393637._SY75_.jpg|5461162] (a day and a half later), which you NEED to read first! It charts Anna’s experience in moving from Chicago to Bran’s pack and her relationship with Charles, but also more interestingly her growth from brutalised victim to taking her life back in her hands, and what it means to be an Omega wolf.

There is also a secondary thread, full of danger, which echoes the main one, especially on the importance of your choices.
