Untamed by Ivy Jackson

4.0

Congratulations, Ivy Jackson, on your second marvellous book. Her debut novel, Burned, was outstanding, and Untamed is equally impressive. It was a pleasure to read this book! However, I felt like something was lacking; I would have liked to witness a flashback to their fallout. It just seems like we are missing out on viewing their entire tale and all of the emotions that accompany it. These two have a fantastic relationship. You can see them transform into a lovely couple as they overcome their previous relationship and problems. The banter between River and Hayes was hilarious. Hayes' grovelling is superb, and it made me giddy throughout the course of the story. There isn't a family I could think of that is more perfect than this one! They won't hesitate to confront Hayes or give him the necessary encouragement to win his girl. This review would be incomplete without addressing the epilogue! I was laughing and blushing after seeing that excerpt from Book 3, Roped. I'm now even more eager to read Wells' novel! I can't wait to read it when it comes out.

“I’ll try again and again until you’re ready.  I’m done with the space, River. I don’t need space from you. I just need you.”
