I received an ARC of this book and absolutely blew through it in a day (started reading a couple of pages on the 12th, but then sat down this morning on the 14th to read and finished it by the end of the day). It’s a very easy read - though the subject matter isn’t easy. As someone who also has anxiety and ruminates about death far too often, parts of this book hit me Right In The Feels, particularly when Gilda would go into her self-destructive thought spirals despite wanting so desperately to think of anything else.

It’s good. I liked it quite a bit, though it does make me wonder what the hell is going on in Canada that you can’t seem to see a psychiatrist despite multiple referrals. This poor girl, man....I just wanted to pull up Psychology Today and march her straight into someone’s office.
