This is a truly fitting sequel to the original book. I feel that the experience of the soldiers coming back from war is something that is rarely considered by the general public, so a book focusing on the feelings of betrayal and that of a lost childhood feels fittingly poignant. It is a wonderful insight into those struggles, and the new set of characters are just as sympathetic as in the last book.
