The Girl in the Storm by Christopher Stanfield

5.0

In the everlasting fight between Heaven and Hell, it's hard to find a story that feels as original and compelling as The Girl in the Storm. Although the plot stays in the path of good versus evil, the warriors of heaven against the forces of vicious Lucifer, is with his characters that Christopher Stanfield lures you into a story that will keep you fully invested with each step Genevieve takes.
Arrogant and striking angels; tormented and regretful demons. They all stand side by side with humans and their vast array of emotions, weaknesses, and strengths.
The book starts with a tragedy, and it doesn't let go until the very end, keeping you on your toes and fighting against tears. Genevieve's courage and compassion will make you root for her, and when you reach the end and see what she has become, a satisfied if somehow wicked smile will come to your face.
Oh, I'm so glad more books are coming!
