General Comments: A brilliant exploration of what it is to love, and to be human. Astute, occasionally beautiful, and drolly hilarious, full of poignant and painful insights about the often-irrational ways that human-beings behave. Written in accessible prose, the plot is allegory for how our highly technological, but often inhumane culture, with its inherent paradoxes seem to an outsider. It is ironically human.

Favourite Quote: ‘Make sure, as often as possible, you are doing something you’d be happy to die doing.’
