Orientalism: Western Conceptions of the Orient by Edward W. Said

Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.

I really tried! This book is above my pay grade. I hate to DNF since I requested it interlibrary loan and had to request an extension on it but I really just can't follow it. There's a lot of French that isn't interpreted and a lot of talk about philology and philosophy that I have no base in to even begin to follow what's going on. Ugh.
