Don't Let Me Go

Duy getting misgendered by the cishet boy learning about pronouns was tolerable enough (if not eye roll worthy) because it was a mostly sporadic thing that annoyed me. However, the AUTHOR, who CREATED THE CHARACTER, misgendering Duy outside of dialogue (and not correcting it), in a chapter told in the POV of a character that knew better, was my last straw. A nitpicky reason to DNF a book, sure, but I truly don't care. If you're going to include a non-binary character, perhaps remember what pronouns you gave them.
Updating this shortly after to say that I have found out how this book ends....I don't regret my petty decision to DNF.
