This is a great thriller with plenty of twists and turns throughout. The story takes place in Sorrento, Italy over two different timelines. Current time 2019 and the past 2001. 

We hear from multiple POV so we get to know more about each character in both timelines as the story goes on.

I can’t say that I particularly really liked any of the characters, they all seemed pretty shady and were each hiding something. I did love the setting though I always think it makes a thriller seem that much more mysterious when set abroad. 

This was the first novel I’ve read by this author and I’d definitely read more. I found the story flowed well and kept me engaged throughout.
