Such a great start to the book the beginning really draws you and the writing is done so beautifully. The ending does drag on and i felt the end didn’t really give vanessa justice? like i feel puzzled by how she reflects on her past as still in the end of the book she still believes her relationship with Strane was romantic and there was love to it? I thought she would have gotten justice like published an article herself as she is a writer but the ending just felt like she didn’t want to come forward as she felt her experience with him was different. But other than that a great read but was painful for some scenes in the book to read as it was erotic sometimes.
