5 stars- Ecopy gifted in exchange for an honest review, this in no way influenced my review.
Awesome book and I am so glad I read this story. It's YA and very clean. I think pretty safe to let your teens read this one, my 14 y/o daughter will be reading it for sure. I was telling her all about it while reading it because it is that good and she is excited and can't wait to read it. I read #2 right after this one so I did not have to wait for the OMG what happens next? which is what normally happens when books are good but end in cliffies. The cliffhanger was not a bad one, but it left you wanting to know more so I was happy to have book 2 available and ready to read right away.
The story is well written, The authors writing style is excellent and not many grammatical errors.
I have to say that this story had me completely interested and entertained. I could not put it down and finished in less than a day and started #2 right away. It is that good. You just need to know what happens next. The twists and turns that the author threw at us were really good I must say. Some I did not even see coming. The characters are very likable except for one or two but I actually liked the bad guys too (eventually)
The story is about the only ever born female Grim Reaper. Born to the very famous and most fierce of the reapers and she has to prove they she can be as good as all the guys. There is training involved and many important events transpire while they are in training. The story has a lot of action and you won't be bored for one second. After training she gets her first list of souls to collect and the story gets even better. To be honest this is one of those stories that keeps getting better and better with every little bit you read.
I recommend this one to all my friends, very entertaining.
