The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan

3.0

Lester and Megs mission to find the next oracle takes place in Indiana. Of course, no one is truly certain on what type of welcome party will greet them.. but it couldn't be more "exciting" as the dragon ride they took to get there!
Immediately upon arrival, danger strikes for the crew and they have to seek out there next safe house. This one being just as cool as Camp Half Blood. It's called the Way Station. It's home to two women, their daughter, mystical animals, a ghost butler, and any demi gods in the area. Unfortunately, like Camp Half Blood, this sanctuary poses a threat to Nero and his gang. When Nero's men strike and the dark prophecy is uncovered ... everyone is forced to face their past mistakes.

Are their friends truly safe from Nero? Will Apollo make it one step closer to returning to his godhood?

Okay... this book definitely wasn't my favorite in the series! However, it still was fairly interesting! I think I am going to take a break from this series and re-read all of the Rick Riordan series in order again. Cause honestly, I just don't understand the devotion people have to this series! Yes, the villain's are extremely cool and Lester's personality is very witty and interesting... but is that worth it? Hopefully after my re-read Ill think differently!
