Started this book yesterday, finished today. It was HEAVY.

I want to take a moment to appreciate the way it’s written: Miles is a complex character who finds love at first sight. When he sees Rachel he mentions how everything turns to poetry when she talks so his words go from paragraphs to poetry verses. We see and feel every emotion Tate feels when she’s with Miles, how she turns into water. The connection from their feelings to the front cover made me appreciate it so much more. Even the connection of how baby Clayton died and what killed the relationship of Miles and Rachel. Water.

Now for my review: I LOVE this book; it’s heavy and full of every emotion you can think of. It was so frustrating knowing Tate and Miles have strong feelings for each other and they’re doing the best to not hurt each other, while hurting each other in the process. I feel that I was so invested in Miles and Tate being together that reading how Miles talked about Rachel gave me the ick
