I picked up this book because it had been so highly rated by others. I cannot see how this was an award winning book. The storyline was interesting, however, I felt that the characters were very underdeveloped. Due to this I had a hard time feeling truly interested in what was happening to them. I would have been more understanding had this been a young adult novel.
