Read this for our book club theme "books published before the 19th century" and while I can appreciate some aspects of this novel, ultimately it was just far too slow-paced for me. I'm glad to have read another Austen novel (it's been years since the last one) but apparently social commentary where not much happens in the plot is not for me.
