This was a fun start to the series I think the next book has a lot of potential considering this one has laid all the groundwork out and the next one is where the action should kick in.
If you liked Andarna’s character from Fourth Wing you are absolutely going to love Daeja’s character in this book.
Also, team Darian, he’s not the usual grumpy “angry stare” mmc, he’s 50% grumpy and 50% inappropriate flirty jokes.
