I really wanted to like this book! I loved the show Cheer and overall loved the confidence and leadership that Monica demanded. Although that is true the book felt flat in my opinion. The title "Lessons in Life and Leadership from America's Favorite Coach" can be misleading as I assumed this book would have helpful hints and tips to become as successful as she has become. Instead this book goes more into the life of Monica and the struggles she has faced over the last few days and how she personally has overcame them. If you love Monica and the series this book would be for you since it goes into depth about the series and how she became who she is today. Overall still love her and her insight but was just disappointed.
