I hadn’t heard of this one until it showed up at my doorstep. I’ve been trying to get more into classics and this short read was the perfect way to! I’m obsessed with these little penguin editions and this is my first one- now I want to collect them all!
Obviously not terribly shocking or surprising ending, but it was a lot of fun to pick up another classic after so long.
If you’re a scardy-cat like me and don’t like horror reads, this one would be perfect to pick up for the spooky season. It has the Halloween vibes, without the scare. And it’s super short! Also a good one for people trying to get more into classics. The writing was a step away from current, but was still fairly easy to understand.
