I Am Malala: How One Girl Stood Up for Education and Changed the World by Patricia McCormick, Malala Yousafzai

4.0

I started this book a few years ago when I was in Pakistan and a friend sent it to me. I only got a few chapters in before I found it too hard to process while trying to embrace the country I had just moved to. Finally got back to it a year after leaving Pakistan and while it still stressed me out that such a horrific incident could occur, I probably got more out of it after the experience of being there. What a strong young woman with amazing resilience. Look forward to passing it on so the next person can enjoy it.
