I don’t read romance very often, so my opinion of this book means very little unless you also read romance few and far between. I picked this book up largely because the cover was so cute, and I’m also in a teeny vampire era.
Nevertheless, the book had me squealing and laughing out loud. What a fun time this book was! I couldn’t put it down! It’s not perfect (specifically I have issues with possessiveness of male characters over women when they aren’t in a relationship yet) but a great 1st read of 2024 in so many other ways! Frederick’s completely obliviousness of how the modern world works was hilarious, and I loved the growth Cassie has over the course of the book. The spicy chapter is also a great added bonus to an overall really solid story!!
