While this book is told in a peculiar way, vacillating between dry observation, and surreal imagery, I could still relate to and identify with so much of what the narrator was saying.
This is a surprisingly quick read for a classic. And while it didn’t give me that rabid five star feeling, it did give me so much to think about. This book could be dissected in 1 million ways and I love when a book makes me feel like I want to write an essay on it. This surprised me because of how straightforward and dry the writing is, because you still could go into every character and symbol and daydream and break them down endlessly
