Ex Libris: Confessions of a Common Reader
by Anne Fadiman
Utterly charming. Fadiman is witty and self-deprecating, all in the name of sharing her bibliomania with others. I consumed this book over a period of time, snacking on chapters (essays rather) while I waited in line, or casually over breakfast. Any free and unhurried moment.
Individually satisfying, together completely rewarding, this book of essays I think can be read and enjoyed by any and all bibliophiles, especially those who like books on books (and she includes such a section at the end for your convenience! Here is an author who simply wants to share the joy!)
