Crooked Kingdom is the follow up to Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse spin off Six of Crows. The stakes have somehow become even higher for our six protagonists as they return to Ketterdam, and the tension is palpable for the entire book. We now get POVs from all six of out main characters, all of them continuing to be incredibly interesting and likeable as we learn more about them. This book has one of the most devastating ending that I've ever read but also gives me hope that thing could get better. Bardugo writes with intelligence, wit, and empathy that makes these characters feel so real.
Graphic: Death, Injury/Injury detail, and Trafficking
Moderate: Violence, Sexual assault, Child death, and Grief
Minor: Drug use
