A Wish for Christmas
by Courtney Cole
Noal and Jonah are struggling in their marriage. The only time they talk is when they walk their dog, Elliott, and that’s becoming few and far between.
On one walk, Elliott escapes, and they find him blocks away with a mysterious old man. When he asks them to make a wish on a snow globe, they reluctantly agree.
They don’t realize that this wish puts their lives on entirely different courses. Will they be able to get it back on track?
If you are looking for a hallmark style Christmas romance then look no further than A Wish for Christmas. I love a good time lapse or time travel romance and this one was perfect for the holiday season. I loved Elliott so much, he’s such a happy and goofy dog that really helps bring the story to life. I’m a sucker for pets in stories, and Elliot was perfect. Noel and Jonah were an interesting couple, and I enjoyed their romance story. I loved that Noel didn’t have to give up her high-powered career to have a family, but she truly reflected what was right for her. It was refreshing for me to read as I often see characters forced to choose between job or family. The characters were well developed and written, including the side characters. I really enjoyed how this story came together and how the Christmas magic was presented. I believe that regardless of religion, the holiday season is truly a magical time, and this book made that idea shine.
If you want a magical and heartwarming Christmas story, then look no further than A Wish for Christmas.
