Always With Love by Giovanna Fletcher

2.0

This is not a bad book, really, but I was not very impressed by it either. It seemed a bit directionless and uneventful. I really love Giovanna and I feel kind of bad about giving a not-so-great-review, but I have to be honest. The first part of the book was a lot better than the last part, it seemed to kind of loose it's way half-way through. Some of the plot devices used were way too generic and predictable. I didn't like the characters as much as I did in "Billy and Me". It all just didn't feel like "enough" to justify a sequel. I didn't expect a literary masterpiece, but as this follows "Dream a little dream" - which I loved - I was a bit disappointed as I know Giovanna can do so much better.

(Giovanna, if you're reading this (hehe), please know that I love you and your writing. I'm looking forward to reading more from you in the future!)
