I liked this quite a bit. It dealt with some heavier subject matter while still managing to be fairly light. I definitely appreciate Hoang's continuously writing about neurodivergent people with respect and intelligence while making it clear that, while different, their lives are just as full and, in many ways, the same as those who are neurotypical. I was often frustrated with those surrounding the lead character here, but... that was the point.
