Oh my god, the last chapters were such a roller coaster. I am so excited to read what's to come next. So far, I enjoyed much more Heir of Fire than Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight for a lot of reasons, ome of them being Rowan. I have to confess, when I read this book back in 2016, I was so enamored with Chaol that I didn't try to like Rowan, but I was so young back then. I still like Chaol, he is not perfect and makes a lot of mistakes, but he was trying his best while being loyal to what he thought was the right thing.
I want to protect Dorian at all costs, like please let my baby boy be happy for once!
I am going to be so mad if any of these characters I love die at some point in the series.
Anyway, even though this is the third book in the series, this actually felt like the first book. The ground is set for whatever is coming in the next installments and I can't wait to read them!
