Unforgetting: A Memoir of Family, Migration, Gangs, and Revolution in the Americas by Roberto Lovato

challenging informative reflective medium-paced

5.0

Lovato is great. Not all of the history was new to me, but it was fleshed out by his family history and personal experiences. Dealing with generational trauma, I think, is both culturally specific (as he writes about the Salvadoran and Salvadoran immigrant experience), and universal - and his insight is relevant to anyone.
