A mix of divergent and hunger games vibes written in a dual POV of both male and female main characters. It is YA fantasy with tension no spice but the story is really good and captivating. There is a ton of playful and flirtatious banter, some physical touch, and some innuendos. It’s easy to become hooked to this book and  the story as the characters are lovable and the twist had me in tears. The story gets more interesting and the beginning pages were immediately interesting! Lauren Roberts is an incredible author and she writes in a way that you can easily imagine  what is being read before you. The cliffhanger at the end makes me excited to read the next book!
