“I loved it, especially the characters and worldbuilding. I think you’ll enjoy it.”
This is a quote from this book, and it perfectly sums up how I feel about the book.
I loved everything about this book, it was perfect for me, well, nearly perfect, and I'm hoping that one thing will be added to the story in the next book.
Plus-sized blue haired ND main character that looks like me and is constantly overthinking, I related to her on a deep level.
It has diverse characters, ghost dogs and sentient house, plant magic and small witchy business, witchy book club and ancient mushroom lady.
Despite looming darkness in every corner, this was a cozy read. Ghost dogs, Maggie and Griffin are the best, I'd die for them and for that cheeky sentient house. By the way, that house could and would kill someone for you, literally.
I can not wait to read more from the author and hopefully see Maisie go vegan.
