Lost in Time by A.G. Riddle

5.0

Lost In Time is a full throttle adventure with a twist that you will not see coming!

A.G. Riddle introduces us to a world in which major crimes are punished in a rather different manner to that which we are used to. The discovery of a form of time travel allowed governments around the world to ‘banish’ their worst criminals into the past using a high energy machine. Those criminals will be left to fend for themselves fighting off the apex predators of the time.

A.G. Riddle is a magnificent writer and immediately pulled me into the world he was creating from the get go. The makeup of the novel is fantastic, swapping between focusing on Sam and then his daughter Adeline. Short chapters ensured that there was ample time for both characters to engrain themselves into my mind and develop a bond with me as I read. The supporting cast of characters were also extremely strong and brilliantly interesting and ensured the excellent story never fails to entrance the reader. There are also stunning locational descriptions that fill your mind with beautiful environments!

The story’s twist is absolutely stunning. The build up and its delivery is masterful. I really was stunned. I was stunned to the point I put the book down, made myself a cup of tea and took a breath. I was rattled. I will not say anything regarding it, I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I consider myself a bit of a sleuth at times but I did not see that coming…at all.

Lost In Time by A.G. Riddle is the best time twisting thriller I have ever read. It is a story of a father and daughter's unbridled love and that daughter’s unwavering determination to save her father.
