Some really great tips and gets you excited. I think this the type of book you should avoid on audio. There are so many series of instructions that just aren’t as accessible if you’re listening and it’s frustrating to switch back and forth to the pdf.
The cards are a bit convoluted but I don’t doubt they work. Also, many of the resources are no longer free and forvo.com has apparently been broken by all the attention. I don’t begrudge the author pay for the resources he built, it’s just annoying to have things like the pronunciation trainer buried within an expensive language bundle.
He also really emphasizes that making the vocabulary and grammar cards are crucial to the process, but now sells them in his store and via his app. Bit of a mixed message.
