A heartbreaking, real & raw recollection of Jennette McCurdy’s life thus far. It feels as though you’re reading someone’s diary, or hearing their inner thoughts- it is vulnerable, private & uncomfortable. This book, although gut-punching & upsetting, acted like therapy for me. Jennette’s reflection and sharing of her struggles and processes is inspiring to me and left me feeling hopeful- for her & anyone going through similar struggles and conflict. Overall, I’m extremely glad I read this memoir & I’ve never been so confident and sure of rating a book 5⭐️ as I have “I’m Glad My Mom Died”. It’s so honest, so brutal, and so raw that it deserves nothing less.
