Coraline by Neil Gaiman

5.0

I just don’t think I can read a Neil Gaiman book without also listening to the audiobook. His velvety voice and inflection only enhance Gaiman’s incredible storytelling.

The movie “Coraline” is very popular in our house, so I’m very familiar with the story, but as any reader knows; the book is always better. I won’t get into any great detail about Coraline, but it’s a spooky, well-developed, fun read. You’ll only need a few hours to jump into this story. If you listen to the audiobook, you’ll get to hear original music written and performed by The Gothic Archies (the band that did the audiobook music for Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events).

This was a great way to spend several hours on a Sunday afternoon.
